개인정보 처리방침
RxScan은 약봉지·처방 사진을 기기 안에서만 분석해 약 이름과 복용법을 인식하고 공식 의약품 정보를 찾아주는 정보 도우미입니다. 진단이나 처방을 대신하지 않습니다. 본 방침은 앱이 개인정보를 어떻게 다루는지 설명합니다.
1. 기기에서 처리되는 정보
- 처방·약봉지 이미지, OCR 텍스트, 인식된 약 정보, 촬영된 복용법, 매칭 결과는 오직 사용자의 기기에서만 처리됩니다.
- 이 정보는 어디에도 업로드되지 않습니다. 계정·로그인이 없습니다.
2. 기기를 벗어나는 정보
- 사용자의 스캔에서 파생된 어떤 정보도 외부로 전송되지 않습니다.
- 공식 데이터 업데이트가 활성화되면, 유일한 네트워크 요청은 모든 사용자에게 동일한 서명된 공용 의약품 데이터베이스를 HTTPS로 내려받는 것뿐이며, 이는 사용자의 스캔 내용과 무관합니다.
- 공식 출처 링크 열기는 사용자가 직접 수행하는 명시적 동작입니다.
3. 저장 및 보관
- 처방 기록 저장은 기본 꺼짐(옵트인)입니다.
- 원본 이미지 보관도 기본 꺼짐이며, 켜더라도 기기에서 암호화되어 저장됩니다.
- 저장 시 기록은 Android 키스토어로 보호되는 키로 암호화된 비공개 데이터베이스에 보관됩니다.
- 임시 스캔 이미지는 취소·완료 시, 그리고 앱 시작 시 삭제됩니다.
- 백업 및 기기 간 전송에서 앱 데이터는 제외됩니다.
4. 삭제
- "스캔 폐기"는 임시 이미지와 스캔 데이터를 삭제합니다.
- "기록 삭제"는 해당 기록과 보관된 이미지를 삭제합니다.
- "모든 데이터 삭제"는 비공개 데이터베이스, 보관 이미지, 암호화 키, 캐시를 삭제합니다. 키를 파기하면 잔여 암호화 데이터는 복구할 수 없습니다.
5. 제3자
- 온디바이스 문자 인식에 Google ML Kit의 번들 한국어 모델을 사용하며, 인식은 기기에서 로컬로 수행됩니다.
- 분석(애널리틱스)·광고·트래커·원격 크래시 수집 SDK는 포함하지 않습니다.
6. 데이터 출처
공식 의약품 데이터는 대한민국 식품의약품안전처(MFDS) 공공데이터에서 가져오며, 앱은 제공기관·데이터셋·품목코드·기준일·데이터 버전을 함께 표시합니다.
7. 아동
본 앱은 일반 정보 도우미로, 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며 아동의 개인정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다.
8. 방침 변경
기능이 추가되면 본 방침을 실제 동작에 맞게 갱신하고 상단의 최종 업데이트 날짜를 변경합니다.

Privacy Policy
RxScan is an information aid that analyzes a dispensing-bag/prescription photo entirely on your device to recognize medicine names and directions and look up official medicine information. It does not diagnose or prescribe.
1. Processed on the device
- Prescription images, OCR text, recognized medicine fields, photographed directions, and match results are processed only on your device.
- None of this is uploaded. There is no account and no sign-in.
2. What leaves the device
- Nothing derived from your scan is sent anywhere.
- When public-data updates are enabled, the only network request is downloading a generic, signed public medicine database over HTTPS — identical for every user and unrelated to your scan.
- Opening an official source link is an explicit action you take.
3. Storage and retention
- Prescription history is off by default (opt-in).
- Original image retention is off by default; when enabled it is stored encrypted on-device only.
- Saved history lives in an encrypted private database whose key is protected by the Android Keystore.
- Temporary scan images are deleted on cancel, on finalize, and on app startup.
- Backups and device-to-device transfer exclude all app data.
4. Deletion
- "Discard scan" removes the temporary image and scan data.
- "Delete prescription" removes that record and its retained image.
- "Delete all data" removes the private database, retained images, the wrapped key, and caches; destroying the key renders any residual encrypted data unrecoverable.
5. Third parties
- On-device text recognition uses Google ML Kit's bundled Korean model; recognition runs locally.
- No analytics, advertising, trackers, or remote crash-reporting SDKs are included.
6. Data source
Official medicine data comes from the Korea MFDS public datasets; the app shows the source agency, dataset, item code, date, and data version.
7. Children
The app is a general information aid, is not directed at children, and does not knowingly collect children's personal data.
8. Changes
This policy will be updated to match actual behavior as features ship, with the "Last updated" date changed accordingly.
