Veritas Bible — Privacy Policy

What data we collect

None. The app does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or store any personal information on remote servers.

• The app does not request your account, contacts, phone number, email, location, camera, microphone, or device identifiers.
• The app does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs.
• The app does not make outbound network calls. All Bible text is bundled inside the application package.

What stays on your device

The following data is stored only on your device, in the app's private storage:

• Reading progress (verses, chapters, daily session duration)
• Reading goals you set
• Highlights you place on verses
• Personal study notes you write — encrypted with AES-256 before being written to disk
• App preferences (theme, language)

If you uninstall the app, the operating system removes all of this data.

Backups you create

The app provides an optional "Export Encrypted Backup" feature. When you use it:

• The export payload is encrypted with a password you provide before it leaves the app.
• The encrypted payload is handed off to the system share sheet so you can place it wherever you want (your email, your cloud storage, etc.).
• We do not receive a copy.

Permissions

The current build declares no runtime permissions. It does not request INTERNET, STORAGE, LOCATION, or any other dangerous permission.

Children

Veritas Bible is suitable for all ages. Because no data is collected and there are no ads or external network calls, no special children's privacy controls are required.
